And I absolutely love your report about Ryan and what he told, esp. about the original last scene. It answers a lot. The same for GR telling that in reality it was the cameraman who was responsible for the emotions shown on screen. They conveniently forgot that even the best cameraman is only as good as the material he has to work with :-)
